1. Designed in the infancy of web technology it was praised in a report by the Financial Times as ‘the best corporate communications site...’ and winner of the Design Business Association (DBA) Award for Information Technology.

2. Redesigned a few years later in response to the ever changing technology and a need to include greater content, this site contained over 1,800 pages.

 

A guidelines manual ‘Shell on the internet’ was also produced which introduced the ‘new media’ to Shell’s communications staff. It defined Shell International’s approach and developed a unified design style for creating, marketing and maintaining websites.
